Through out the last 10 years or so, there is a peculiar vibe for NA crowds. While not entirely super obvious (because I had to go digging for these clips), there are however a few rare instances where some banter comes out.
NA crowds being rather tame is nothing new and something a lot of artists experience. The musicians feed off of crowd energy and vice versa. It enhances the overall experience for everyone.
I am not sure entirely what is the point of this video other than to beat an already dead horse, so to say, and to mock NA crowd. This video idea came about from once again seeing the main tour starting again in North America, thus me having to embrace all the tour spoilers because I am from Europe.
As someone who likes moshing around in the circle pits in small venues, it is quite upsetting to me anytime I see a dead crowd. It puts a smile on my face when I am in a concert and there is a mosh pit.
This video could've been crowd shots only but I figured it would make more sense to put clips where Muse themselves display banter about the NA crowd.
I am well aware that I could very well make a compilation nitpicking on EU crowds too (Finland comes to mind), but I think the video but would be rather short and less popular to agree with.
I do not have an issue with Muse here, but with the crowd. Muse themselves in my opinion has gotten better with treating the dedicated fanbases.
And yes I am aware that Canada is not exactly United States, but this video is about North America - the region, I guess. I don't know, geography is my passion.
