I had forgotten I had one of these. It was a pia. It also didn't last long. I concentrated on my Stallion .45, Fanner 50, Rifleman's rifle and Mattel burp gun

As I remember you could be wearing the belt with the gun loaded and by pushing out with your stomach the gun would fire. There was a button on the back of the buckle that allowed you to fire the gun in this manner. Great memory!

I had one. The hammer has to be pulled back to close it into the buckle, otherwise you bend the hinge. The funny thing was that my Dad had a very similar pistol from when he was a kid but it fired 22. blanks.

My brother and I each got one of these for Christmas in the early 1960's. I bought a barely used complete set with an extra derringer on eBay some years ago. Unfortunately, the belt doesn't fit me anymore. :)

I had the revolver too. My hammer wouldn't hit the cap. Like the hammer spring was worn. Does this happen and it can't be fixed?
@s3usarmy

Acornstat Transpo it can wear down where it will not have enough force to “pop” a cap. I have another one that fires but doesn’t have enough force. Do not know if it can repaired.

It was the Snubnose revolver that failed to fire! No contact yet the toy appears in unused condition. I did get the Winchester rifle in 1959. This version I remember being flawless in operation. I lost quite a few bullets. It's so sad toys like these are no longer made. There really no reason for it!

Wow. I cringed every time you closed the buckle with the hammer forward! Didn't you notice how hard it closed? It only has a depression for the hammer with the hammer in the cocked position! Geez Louise.

Diane Dillon It could break the gun unless it is cocked when pushed back into buckle. He also forgot to lock the bullet in and this could break without working it properly. Then the gun could also be removed from the buckle for independent play. The metal was not strong and I had my bale break that holds the belt loop.
