Have you been able to work on a comparison between the 2 point cloud files? I'm curious to see the quality difference. Thank you

Can i ask, what holder/mount do you use for the Ipad? My company just purchased the pro3 and i have been deep diving into the best use and functionality of it. I used it for the first time today with my iphone, and using an ipad seems sooooo much easier!

Thank you for the detailed explanation. What's the maximum ceiling height the PRO3 can scan? Let's say a warehouse is 30m in height, can the PRO3 scan the ceiling?

According to Matterport's website you can capture data up to 100m away (when viewing an e57 file). +/- 20mm @ 10m accuracy.

No, I meant the ceiling height. Not sure if vertical scan height is the same as the horizontal scan distance

@@shivtejreddy It's same vertical scan and horizontal scan distance

What's your technique to keep your scan point aligned like this ? Counting steps or simply experience?

my slight undiagnosed OCD is the technique :) i do count steps sometimes and I do use reference points in the space, maybe a line in the cement or a pattern on the carpet. it helps.

Hello, I learned today that the different settings standard, medium and high density do not affect the image quality. Only point clouds and depth information with LIDAR laser? So if you scan an area only for the visuals, then you only need the fastest setting.

Hi, correct, I typically scan at standard for most jobs.

@@sparksmediagroup in what situation would you scan in high / medium? If it was for construction engineers wanting as-built conditions for measuring & planning, would you use high definition?
