This video presents a typical sonographic picture and there are all signs that allow you to suspect mature teratoma:
1) heterogeneous cystic formation of the ovary with several echogenic parietal nodes (tallow substance) with an acoustic shadow (Rokitansky-dermoid plugs nodes);
2) hyperechoic focus with distal acoustic shadow, representing the teeth - "a sign of the tip of the iceberg" - the ability to assess only detected
the front edge of the formation, the distal acoustic shadow does not allow
rear margin estimate;
3) hair in mucus forms a specific point-dash-point ultrasound pattern;
