Jimmie Walker said that “Maude” was Norman Lear’s favorite show. The show was heavy with social issues. That’s the type of stuff Norman liked.

"No, you were trying to do MY thing!" Right on, Maude. Funny that this is the same actress that accused Mike of being the father of her child on All in the Family. Gloria wanted a piece of her, too. Lol

14:52 “Now you can go on television looking like a short, brown turtle!” 😂😂 This episode has so many good lines, but Bea’s delivery on that made me laugh! Also, even though that blue outfit was lovely, she actually looked so great and elegant in the first brown outfit. 🤩👏🏆🟤✅

Why would Walter want to fall in love or be tempted to lust with his step daughter Carol, since the acteress in this episode played Carol in the firsr pilot of Maude which was shown in the program All In The Family.

I will never understand why this show was considered so great. Except for a few episodes in the first two seasons, this show really isn't that funny or even interesting. The best part was in the beginning with Florida the maid and some episodes with her. After that - dumb story lines and nothing that spectacular.

@@Lilian-cs6on Your crude and petty comment is a reflection of your frustration that you can't allow another person to have their own opinion. On the other hand, it might just be your lack of fulfillment in your personal life - which really wouldn't be a big surprise.

@@Lilian-cs6on Oh, and by the way . . . this is a forum to leave comments. I left it and didn't ask for your opinion but you gave it to me. I really don't need anything to substantiate my view just because you don't like it. In my view you are incorrect . . . about me having the wrong opinion. Based on my experience and opinion, you were wrong. Do you have anything definitive to substantiate that you're right? So far you've not done anything of the sort.
