Try the Mama's Fish House next time. It will blow you mind away. Also the Three's Bar & Grill visited by Guy, he has his photo with owners placed inside by the entrance. Oysters, bloody Mary.

Looked yummy 😋 So I can't actually wrap my head around those prices, don't blame you for stopping when you did! In AU$ that's nearly $30 a meal and that's soooooooo expensive! In Japan, for the same, you'd pay less than $10 AU so that's like $6-$7 USD and there would be no tax or tips on top of that! When you get to Japan it's going to blow your minds! Can't wait to see more of Maui!

I'm shocked the prices weren't higher. We pay similar prices in Seattle right now.

Was mainly shocked at the Poke! We could get double that at the super market for the same price and same quality!

God bless you both but this is not fun. Of course as locals we can get good Poke cheaper, but Guy helps people and small businesses get going. I can understand the price being higher and not because of Triple D but because of their location. They as a food truck don't get large quantity discount prices to get that fresh caught fish so they have to charge more anyway. If you think those food truck owners are getting rich, calculate all the expenses and divide by labor hours and expenses by the amount of hours they serve and you will come up with a very conservative lifestyle. Guy helps them to get in brick and mortars. Also consider how much they had to invest in the food truck with a licensed preparation kitchen and equipment. Aloha!

It seems like you took this entire video out of context.. we didn’t discount how expensive it is to run a business like this. We are in fact business owners ourselves. We are just stating our honest opinion on the price and quality of food. We have done this in several locations around the country. Did not mean to come off complaining by any means. We have had to discontinue this series due to people taking things way out of proportion
