👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Profound my sister! Aya must also be connected to the Aja people in Togo-Benin. Remember, in the ancient world the Y and the J were/are interchangeable. The Ewe and the Aja both are categorized as being from the Gbe ethnic group. Lastly, nextdoor in Benin, you had the ancient kingdom of Ouidah. On old European maps it's also spelled Juidah and Juda! The Hebrew are definitely part of our genetic tree. One Love.

@@hebrewtheblackman there is a Latin version " agis quod agis " which translates as " is good keep doing" which also transliterates into Akan as " 3y3 kodu y3" with the same meaning. The Ga meaning sounds reasonable but the spirit of the word seem to say "well done" after a great performance. In Akan when someone greets "ayikoo"( 3y3 koduoo, agis quod, lat.) the response is " yefuano" meaning " Is good keep doing- we are pressing on" . Looks like the Akans are in agreement with the Latin

One of my grand uncles was called Yator which literally means 'owned by Ya' or 'property of Ya'. The word Ya in Ewe means air. In the African tradition, God is regarded as the air. Unfortunately, my cousins changed the name to Nyator by confusing 'ya' with 'nya'. Everything about this video is correct according to Ewe beliefs. Congrats.

Thank you for your input. Yator also implies a worshipper of YA. Is it possible for the new generations in your family to change the name back to Yator?

Ya should not be Air. God says *I am that I am* So if someone is reporting it will be He said that He Is or She is or It is or His. It will be reported in the third person pronoun. Ya has to mean His/He/Her/She/It. I have watched how you guys tried so hard to link yourselves to the Hebrew, Maybe it could be that Hebrew came from Negro Land which is West Africa. This theory is the most viable for me now. After the first 5 books of the Bible, the other things is not aligning well with me. My one good question is it only the Ancient Hebrew Israelites that are missing? What about Ancient Egypt, Sumerians, Phoenicians, Canaanites, Edom, Hittites etc. We are focused on one group and tries so hard to replace them. I believed the Exodus happened and i Know my people built the Pyramids because we had pyramids in Igbo Land and it was well documented. I also know that the Torah of Judaism shares many more similarities with our Omenaala (Culture). And our culture is not the same as our religion. Our religious practises varies from each Clan and Dialects. This was were the Missionaries influenced our religious practices of Deity worship . So we are Igbos and not Hebrews. Be proud of your roots

@@martinsibeanusi4317 This channel is called Hebrew Ivri Ewe Eʋe The Black Man. I’m not sure why you expected to find information about Hittites, Sumerians, Egyptians and co, as you mentioned. If as an Igbo you believe that you are an Egyptian, that’s your journey. This channel is not about Egyptians.

@hebrewtheblackman it's alot of things it can mean I am trying to connect dots , when used in a conversation that word means holding a conversation but as a clan name it doesn't make sense as it can mean You give to YA because the word Muwa means ( to give) but Ya in this case is a name. All the traditional practices in our tribe are in the bible apart from circumcision that we lost . People only circumcise for health reasons . The only tribe in Uganda dat hold circumcision is the bagisu ( Gishu). We call Saturday Sabiti but I didn't really connect that to sabbath till I started connecting dots. Colonialism really messed our cultures up and sent our people even deeper into sleep, its time to wake them up.

I find it interesting that MAWUGA, is the Great One, who surpasses all else in the Ewe Culture. It seems similar to me in the Swahili culture to the word for God...which is MUNGU...

"Mungu" is a general term for God. It is not His name, it just refers to the Creator. "ALMIGHTY GOD is Mwenyezi-Mungu. My research has shown that it is HEBREW culture which has influenced Swahili. I really think Swahili is paleo- Hebrew. For example, I cannot remember exactly where but I read God referred to as "Yah-Mwenyezi Mungu" in the Swahili past. Yah meaning the name of God; Mwenyezi meaning ALMIGHTY and Mungu meaning Creator, thusly YAH the Almighty Creator. The word YAH not ending in a vowel is not customary for Swahili words, so I am thinking wherever I read it, the writer abbreviated it...

Ok, interesting but not surprising . It is not unusual for people to take the names and attributes of TMH and appropriate them to their deities. A classic example is the thunder and lightning deity (So) among the Eʋe, being referred to as YEƲE (YHWH or יהוה ).

@@hebrewtheblackman Defiantly not surprising. What I found surprising though is the fact the ewe have the Jacob and Esau’s story within their tradition. Speaking as a Akan man I thought the story of Tano and bia (Or Kobina Aynesu and Yaw Densu) wasn’t outside the Akans within the land of Morden day Ghana. The sonninke have this story also Djabe cisse and Khine. Quite interesting and surprising to find out. Is there a direct source you can take me to if God willing. Thank you 🙏🏿

The mention of the name Mawu was unequivocally understood by our ancestors as referring to the Most High. There are other beings worshipped by them which they referred to as Mawuviwo, ie children of God. These beings were regarded as intermediaries to Mawu. Other names given to these intermediary gods by our ancestors are vodu/voduwo, tror/trorwo and legba/legbawo. The suffix 'wo' added to the first word makes it plural. Thus the name Mawu is exclusively for the Most High.

Good question. In Eʋe culture and also Biblically, the male gender assigned to YAH has nothing to do with sex or sexual organs. It rather has to do with His role in relation to us. He is known as our father. Father in Eʋe is Tɔ, it is the same word for “owner”, and that is exactly how we view TMH: He’s our father and the owner of everything. A father has a different role than a mother.

@@hebrewtheblackman TMH is neither he or she - I read what you've said and how you keep referring to the unknown ( TMH) as father/him which almost all humans see as male. The kabalion does a pretty good job of explaining TMH - I don't agree with all but some. No religion/culture can say definitely that they have met TMH not one !!!! All doctrine is speculation and down right lies. Most of it is made man to control the sheeple - hence the bullsh#t that's going on today.
