After servicing this 1982 Maxcom radio, it was time for Mr Chippie to take to the road & test it. As usual, he drove along our 6-mile 'difficult terrain for radio' test route. At the 5-mile point he stopped & we performed a static test on low power. Low power was correctly set to 400mW. The radio was doing 3.8W on it's full power setting.

Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio we use in the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' flag on this video.
