If the printer (GX6050) is not used for several hours, I first have to turn it on manually, before I can send a printjob to it. This is very annoying if I am not near the printer. Is this normal behaviour? And can it be changed?

For now I have no info on print head clogging on MAXIFY GX models. MY printer is not used so often and so far no problems with GX5000 which I keep for myself now.

I have an additional question: Is there any buzzing, whirring noise (aka coil whine?) coming from the power supply? This was the case - unfortunately - with a other printer, so I had to return it because 2x repair didn`t resolve the issue.

I suppose it should be arround lifetime, but you can buy print head and replace. I will post pritn head replacement soon, as it is not available from user menu as standard, but you need a combination of buttons.

Any number bottle 26, 46, 56, 76 will be ok, it has to be original pigment ink for this model, i suppose it is about 30+ $, but you can use economy when copy or print and save 50% on ink

The MAXIFY GX has physical ink sensor, maybe it is defective.

Support code 6800 generally indicates a failure with the logic board on your printer. This is DOA case, the official service should replace your printer with new.
