When are u gonna do 1408 filming locations or the classic movie demons by David argento
@aboutface7961
2 жыл бұрын
You should both do a Toronto movie location colab special. Known to those in the biz as 'Hollywood North'. You have almost every decent Cronenberg movie, recent Del Toro movies, and 70s Horror classic 'Black Christmas'. + 80s stuff like Class of 1984, Cocktail, and Police Academy,,,,,,, etc and so forth. Plus very niche locations where Dan Ackroyd met John Belushi, and the Blues Brothers was essentially birthed, in Toronto.

My brother was one of the ball players killed by a (foam) soda can which is up in the attic somewhere. My brother is now 47.. A few yrs after I became employed by the DeLaurentis Entertainment Group at 18 or 19 as a construction purchase driver til the layoffs of the late 80's. In 2013 filming started kicking up again and I became a background actor in yes, a Stephen king tv series Under the Dome, not much screen time til the 3rd season then I made it in at least 10 episodes. Loved this trip down memory lane, thank you!

I get the credit for asking him. 👍 My Dad holds a world record for brick laying btw. Just had to brag, haha, but hey!!, want to brag on you guys. Wouldn't the fact that there is a smoke free facility sign imply that it's public property? Why put up a sign that tells people not to smoke on a property they're not supposed to be on in the first place? While also not putting up a private property sign... Smells fishy to me.... Sounds like the "security guard" might be faking it.
@allthings80swithgarrett42

I got to meet and hang out with Emilio Estevez and Laura Harrington during the filming of that movie. I was stationed at the old AFB in Myrtle Beach, SC at that time. My cousin was a Sheriff Deputy in Brunswick Co. NC where most of the filming was taking place. He was assigned to provide security for the film production company, so, he knew the schedule and most of the hangouts they were using. We ran into Estevez, Harrington and a few of the production crew at a local diner eating. I became the focus of attention when I drove up in my 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS (Magnum P.I.) car while they were eating. The car broke the ice and they asked about it. They were equally impressed to hear that an Air Force Airman...was able to own such a nice vehicle. I ended up hanging out with them on a few weekends while they were in town filming.

I was told years ago (late 90's) that the truck that fell into the water during the drawbridge scene is still down there stuck in mud. Apparently, it hit the river bed with such force that it buried itself in the mud. They couldn't get the truck out, so some how, they just moved it aside so the ships could pass over it during low tide.

The baseball diamond is either owned by GE-Wilmington or the Church, not sure which. It's weird they didn't put up a no trespassing sign. Then again, Disney didn't put up a no ringing sign on the bell in Liberty Square at Disney World either. Bout got kicked out of the park.🤣
