The goal of speed training is to develop players 'speed skills, including the ability of players to respond quickly to opponents' movement, the ability to make quick decisions, and to change direction in the sprint with maximum intensity, to one side or the other. Players are motivated by an entertaining form of exercise where one player has to escape the other, or the other is trying to catch up with the first.
The exercise is designed for all youth ages, most often it will be used by older pupils and adolescents. It can also be managed by younger pupils or is an interesting diversification of adult speed training (men/women).
The exercise is designed for 2-18 players.
