My kit is over 30 years old!!! Me and my son dusted it off and are playing with it now. Great tool for learning electronics. I highly recommend

Oh my damn. This brings me back! I had this in 80's or 90's. I don't know why I wanted it and I don't think I learned much. But I remember going to Radio Shack to pick it up. It hasn't changed a bit! Even that green box it sets in!

What AWG size is that hook up wire? I am having trouble trying to find the original hook up that I bought years ago for that lab kit. Is it 22 or 24 gauge? I know it's stranded. Don't mind the earphone, because that's sold seperately.

Reminds of the same kit that my dad bought me for Christmas in the year 1990, and then in the year 1996 after the one in 1990 wore completely out. Then I found another one very cheap at the DAV Thrift Store in the year 2006 way before DAV started to sky rocket their prices on most things. My favorite circuits are the communications electronics circuits, and the LED display circuits. The main circuit that I used the most was the One Transistor Radio and the AM Broadcaster.

I had this kit in the mid 90s...it's a shame that I really didn't catch on to how the circuits worked and lost interest. I had a bunch of kits back then, and the 200-in-1 was my favorite!
