One of my favorite shows. Mr David McCallum was shopping at The Food Emporium, where I used to work. 15 years ago. Retired now. A nice classy man. I recognize him as soon as he walked in the store. He saw my reaction; gave me a warm smile. We weren't allowed to ask for autograph. Heather Locklear, Spike Lee and Julia Roberts (came in at 3am) the store was open 24 hrs; a few who shop there.

To be fair, his parents never took the time to raise or get to know him. There was an episode where he wanted to talk with his father as a child but his father couldn’t be bothered to sit next to him at the table but sat far away. Plus I can forgive the snobbiness here due to the circumstances.

Everyone missed the real joke here. At the end of the scene, Yetta says “you know a pig can’t learned lines. He used cue cards.” If you pay attention to the scene, it’s very obvious that the actor playing Sheffield’s father is reading off cue cards
