I have no intention of buying a M6006 and really don’t like the DR650 but dang that was a mint video mate. Throwing the old ‘pig round like it’s a skinny bike!! Some sweet jumps 10/10

What suspension do you run mate ? I've come from a Beta 3002T smashing over things like in this video. But that got nicked and now modifying my big, fat, slag dr650 for some rough riding which worried me slightly.... Have just ordered some of these tyres and used one of your videos for fork rebuild thankyou.

Hi, do you think is the tires fine for Suzuki XF 650 freewind to trip to Georgia -.? And is it better than Mitas E09? And what you make with the suspension. Thanks. You have good hand :-) and super feeling for center of gravity.
@SKIDSnSTUFF

If you are mainly on road, the E09 would be a better choice. Suspension has uprated springs and valving done.

Nice review, and great seeing the DR launching like that! What suspension work have you done? If I jumped mine like that with stock suspension the forks would come up through the triples and take my teeth out and the shock would come through the seat to say g'day...

Springs and valving done both ends. Highly recommend the small expense for the performance.

It sounds better than the D606 apart from Kms, thoughts?
@SKIDSnSTUFF
3 жыл бұрын
Yeh as an all-rounder the M6006 will smoke the Dunlop. Where the D606 has the edge, the M6006 will still have enough go then flog it everywhere else

Hey bro, what would you say is better the Maxxis or the Dunlop D606?
@SKIDSnSTUFF

The Dunlap for straight line. The m006 maxxis for all rounder. Personally I won't run a d606. FYI the Motoz RallZ bests them both

@@SKIDSnSTUFF I heard the Maxxis front is a bit of a tank slapper at anything over 90kph. I’m running the Pirelli MT21’s, ( came with the DR, was lucky enough to score the tanami edition , 2nd hand with 507km on the clock and with the tyres brand new ) got 1000km on em, wear is minimal on the back. Squiggles a bit when I’m changing up a gear at speed on the tarmac, but nothing too scary.

Yeh sorry I should have specified I was talking rear tyres in the previous reply. For the front, the only tyre I will run on the Warpig is the 90/100 Motoz DesertHT.

Hey mate, I'm over thinking tire purchases right now for my dr (currently struggling on a set of scorpion STRs). Have you tried the Rallz rear tire ? Any views on it compared to the 6006? Also have you used the Michelin Tracker up front? Mate I can't tell you how many times I lost my bike (and my shit) riding trails in the Vic Alps on the STRs.. shoulder still recovering!! Love the content. Keep it coming

Yep currently running and settling on, the RallZ as my go to rear tyre, decent life a touch more than the M6006, not as good as m6006 on gravel straight up (at my pressure) but settles in quickly and not bad everywhere while being better for a bit longer than M6006 in soft terrain. Front is and always will be Motoz Desert 90/100. Cheers for the support and thanks for thinking of skidsnstuff for this question. Have a great new year
