I LOVE Love love your gardens, they are stunning! I love the use of your urns, your yard is wonderful! I went all out this year as much as my budget would allow because this is our 10th year in our home! I went mostly pink for spring with supertunias, a fuchsia, vincas, coleus, geraniums (I have to move from window boxes, they are getting too much water I learned) Excellent video I love your wire basket as cloches idea. I’ve seen those candle birdhouses in Goodwill a couple of times! So fun!

Thank you Darla and welcome! 🙂 The rabbit statue I purchased recently at Home Goods, if you have one near you , you may want to check. I had been looking for a while for a concrete one to add to the garden.💚

Hey Michelle, I see you were in my neck of the woods. The botanical garden is my grandson's favorite place to be. I heard you say you are in IL. We should totally go to some other places that I know about. That Habitat ReStore is always busy because their hours are so limited.

That garden had so many beautiful roses and hostas! Yes, lots of people at the Restore and it was pricey on some of items, but that is normal when thrifting!🙂🌸💚

@Michelleshomeandgarden I think you saw the other new variety in a video awhile ago called Orange Glow I think that one also may have fragrance. I got mine a year early it was so exclusively from QVC of all places. So it does very well. It smells very pretty. A light sweet type fragrance I'm not great and describing fragrance.
@Michelleshomeandgarden

@@Sindri27 thanks for letting us know. The older variety I do like its continued blooming performance in the garden even without a fragrance and it is a no fuss easy rose to care for.🙂

Love your beautiful garden. I heard you talk about your autumn clematis( it grows well for me zone4), what was the purple blooming clematis next to it on the back fence? I heard jacklamania( but I may have heard wrong, is it jackmanii?) it looks different and Hardy. Maybe I could grow it here.
@Michelleshomeandgarden
4 ай бұрын
Hi Judith, you are correct it is jackmanii😁 totally different than the way I have always pronounced it….after hearing the correct pronunciation today …I do like mine better though!! Haha😉 I have taken the original plant and divided it several times over the years. It does really well!

I love fox glove and planted it twice when I lived in Birmingham, AL but had no success. I have now moved 60 miles further southwest and planted a small flower garden and everything has grown so beautifully I would love to try fox glove again but don't want to lose another one. This location is full sun next to my house and very hot in mid to late summer. Do you have any suggestions?
@Michelleshomeandgarden
3 ай бұрын
Hi Judith, you don’t mention your zone, but foxglove will grow in zones 4-9. Have you tried to plant it in partial shade or afternoon shade? It doesn’t take heat well, the ones that are doing best in my garden are getting more shade. If it is still a no go for you, I also like snap dragons, the taller varieties that give that foxglove look. Good luck!🙂🌸💚

We haven’t had any either, usually not until mid to late July. I heard the Midwest was supposed to have them this year though. We don’t usually have any issues with them, we get a few in the front large trees. 🙂🌸
