I looked up to the wrong celebrities growing up as a child. This woman, and many more like her, is somebody that I should’ve paid more attention to as a child while I had the chance. But now that I’m 21, I’ve been watching more videos of her and she was a blessing

Unfortunately YT is kinda making it hard to get these on here. Just wanted yall to know I am searching and trying to find more to put on here.

Such a shame that this interview was done by one of the most racist people: Oprah. I took my daughter who is mixed to one of Oprahs talks, I am black and my husband is white so my daughter is mixed. We never emphasised race to her until that point she had a happy childhood. Throughout the talk, Oprah wouldn’t stop ripping our society but also ripping black people who are ‘associated’ with white people. On the way home, my daughter asked me if she is ‘half bad’ because Oprah had planted the seed of racism against whites in her mind. Oprah forgets that it was white people who gave her the opportunities to become a billionaire. Maya is a Queen, and Oprah should have known she was not evolved enough to go interview Maya.
