Blurring of objects in scenes also occurs when they move fast. This effect from classic cameras and their frame by frame recording of images can be simulated with the Maya renderer and much better with the Arnold renderer.
In this tutorial we also touch on MASH, the mash random and dynamics nodes. And finally a remark about the Camera Anti Aliasing, which is the parameter to reduce grainyness of the motion blur.
If I remember correctly, Bill Reeves/Pixar holds the patent on Motion Blur in computer graphics.
