Hey, this is good! for you to be able to put the textures on like you did here you need to straighten the UV layout, if you don't do this will give you a warped image on the 3D model.. if you don't want to straighten you should've projected the image as a cylinder and the black-masked outside the label, this would have warped the image on the UVs and given you straight results on the mesh. Keep going you got this!

On the right hand side in the properties panel. There should be an arrow for a drip down menu. You need to change the file type to alpha blending. Alpha means it will allow you to turn opacity on. When youv changed it to alpha you should then be able to scroll down on each material layer and a tick box next to opacity should of appeared and you can just tick that to turn it on

Hey, great video. Just wonderin how you exported the textures and used them in Maya. May I ask what your settings are for exporting and using the maps with Arnold and Maya?

1. Export the textures as ai materials(Substance has the option for it) to a location you want, if you're using the project method, then sourceimages folder is the best choice. 2. Enable substance plugin in maya and import the maps. 3. Assign the newly exported material(s) that will be imported by the name ai1/2/3/.... etc to your object Loads of tutorials are available on youtube, you can check them out😊
