He was supposed to because he was following the chairman's orders, but was too lazy to actually do it. He settled in Brighton because it was already such a miserable place on it's own he wouldn't actually have to do anything. It’s makes perfect sense. Adia was the one who moved away when they were still kids and since she was the more daring and outgoing between the two of them she already had the experience of leaving Brighton and stepping out of her comfort zone whereas Scratch/Todd stayed there his whole life and was only comfortable with what was familiar to him and most likely never made any other friends before giving up his ghost and as a result even if he and Adia kept in touch over the years he was still alone in Brighton which likely only made leaving to see the world more difficult and scary for him since he had no one else to inspire and encourage him to go before Molly.

On the one kudos are required for a show with a ghost character actually acknowledging they were alive once *Danny Phantom had this kudos in season 1 but they decided to backtrack and claim they weren't alive before and just another dimensions...contradicting several episodes, but it is what it is*, but yeah when you see kids shows with ghosts it is rare for them to acknowledge who they were when alive, especially one of the main character ones.

The Ghost and Molly McGee has to be one of the most under appreciated pieces of media Disney has made recently, good music and enjoyable characters. Unfortunately, Disney decided that the show wouldn’t get a Third Season because of poor marketing and although the show was doing well, the show needed a larger amount of viewers constantly watching. So, they eventually pulled the plug which left the community and creators shattered. But, I feel like this was a good ending for a show with only 2 Seasons. Let’s hope it gets more love. I’m just hoping that Disney isn’t going to do this with other animated series such as Big City Greens.

I love the little details in this, like how the destination for the boarding pass is literally "adventure", how he's playing Solitaire on his phone (that would be what someone his age would play), how the video call with Adia wasn't actually a call, but rather a video/stream of hers that he's watching. I especially love how it shows them progressively drifting apart, going from a video call, to a phone call, to a text, to leaving on 'read'. Edit: I'm only now realizing that his relationship with her was the only thing keeping his soul tied to him, and the moment he realized their relationship was done, he lost it.

You don’t exact have to travel the world or break the law or defy death just start with small risks like if you’ve never seen a horror movie in your life then go see one, or if you’ve never been out of town go do it just don’t go too far. basically a life doesn’t have to be grand or epic to have been lived to the fullest.
