Ralph, it does not matter if it's fresh or not, not like you are showing on this video any way. You can really just shovel it up off the ground, and let it sit/lay for awhile in the compost pile, and keep adding in more compost as you already have and let it get good and hot, so it will decompose. It all needs to stay wet, and get up to 180 degrees F.

You can add coffee grinds egg shell, pieces for newspaper, some fertilizer fruits that you can throw away old fruits 🍉 to combine all this together. It should work.

You won't dry manure to make tea for your garden also you can use dry manure to burn in the yard for mosquitoes it help keep down mosquitoes like when you're grilling and stuff like that Sandra from south Mississippi loves you God bless

@@grandpadossfarms I'll just lay here thinking Grandpa y'all be careful too about where you get your hay because if they put Ray's on in your hay that's not good for you and it affects your vegetables I know it makes like points on the end of tomatoes if you got rayson in your fertilized that you put to your plants so just be careful I love you yeah we used to put them cow patties in a circle outside when we kids and set them on fire and let them burn they help get rid of mosquitoes around the place it's almost like taking and burning diesel fuel with a rag in the can for mosquitoes again I love you have a good day and a good night

Grandpa, if you dry trap them you could dump them out in the turkey and chicken pens. Some may get back to your garage if the birds are not fast enough. :-)

rofl! I think those boys are pullin your leg. There are cow patties all over that field. Put those in the bucket. Still laughin. You gonna get kicked. Chad is bein a prankster. If you start holding the chickens while they are young they will become more tame as they get older. A wire basket works great for the hay for the goats. I would think that that trap would work for chipmunks too. Those are destructive little critters. They destroyed our cement drive and the floor of our garage.

A sun dried cow pattie can be easily picked up with a 4 tine garden fork. You can make up an easy composter with some pallets set up in a square. Line it with some chicken wire. Toss in some straw or old hay, grass clippings, leaves with the pattie layered in. Spray a little water in to keep things moist as needed. Come spring it will be wonderful!

You made me laugh so darn hard!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 From a farm girl who has shoveled a lot of cow manure in my lifetime and Cleaned horse stalls. My dad used to use the tractor and the scraper and scrape the corals and get all the cow manure out and pile it up to use in the fields and orchards. Hey, everybody has gotta learn. You can still give us a laugh along the way all in fun.
