playing on a role play multiplayer server and usually my character is a solo long range scout/forager so he'll leave and be gone for days with only a walkie talkie to inform his friends he's still alive (every night between 9 and 10pm) but one time I decided to take someone with him and the house we looted set off an alarm. It pulled tons of zombies out of every surrounding house and quickly turned into us being in the center of a horde all converging on us. This song started playing the second the alarm went off and we were just booking it, not even trying to fight just running and dodging, jumping fences. I just remember yelling "Run!" and then it was just pure adrenaline rush and focus trying to not get grabbed. We lost sight of each other at one point when they failed to jump a tall fence but any pause to try and backtrack to find them would have been death so I kept going and hoped they were ok. I eventually found a house to hide in without being spotted but they ended up in a car with no idea how far apart we were and the horde was still in sight from the windows. Had a brief conversation via walkie that basically amounted to them trying to say goodbye because they didn't think they were going to survive the night. This game had been going on for 6 in-game months and both of us had been around since the start. It was so emotional that I had to leave the house and try to find this car but it got too dark and I ended up camping out the night in a windowless bathroom at a car shop. An intense moment made all the more intense by this games awesome use of music.

@@ComputerWizard She did. She had managed to get enough ahead of the zombies that they didn't see her get into the car and didn't stray close enough to see her in the car during the night. She was lucky that she had gotten into the car instead of trying to keep running because she found an absolutely massive horde right on the other side of a building from where the car had been the next morning. If she had kept going she would have been neck deep before she even saw how many there were. She made it back to the safe house fine but I had run so far away in the opposite direction trying to find her that I opted to just stay out and continue my recon scavenging after I found out she was safe. One of the things I love about this game is how quickly it can go from perfectly fine to shit storm in an instant, no matter how good you think you are.

My take on the arab lyrics of this soundtrack: "Fountain of life" = Survival. "What is the cost , oh time?" = Struggle. So pretty much, "Fountain of life... what is the cost oh time?" = How much struggle for survival?

What is the price? What is the price? Any Oh time, Oh time, Oh time, Oh Oh time, Oh time, Oh time, Oh Fountain of life Fountain of life Fountain of life Fountain of life Fountain of life Oh time, Oh time, Oh time, Oh Oh time, Oh time, Oh time, Oh Fountain of life Fountain of life Fountain of life *[T/L NOTES]* I'm told this is an Egyptian dialect but I'm far from an expert, just a casual enjoyer of linguistics. Translation software likes to translate the 'Fountain of life' line as نبع الحياة which has ambiguity between 'Fountain of life' and 'Source of life' but dropping the ة for نبع الحيا not only makes it sound more accurate (Nabe al hay'aa versus Nabe al hay'aat, miss me with those silent t's) but also seems to disambiguate the reference to 'Fountain of life' more specifically. You could use either 'price' or 'cost' for ايه الثمن but I leaned towards price. More interesting is the trailing ايه or 'Ayh' after the first three 'What is the price?' repetitions. You could interpret that as just lyrical repetition but more interestingly, ايه or 'Ayh' by itself seems to translate more favorably to 'Any' but I don't know if that's a software quirk or not. Some fun trivia. Nabe Al Hayat is the name of a restaurant in Dubai that serves Indian food. So this entire hymn could just be an extremely poetic woman asking how much time and money it would cost to go get some curry take-out LOL
