hello sir you assume the position of center of mass to be depended as (c* l^x * a^y ) but why it can not be like some other function of different form for example (l * tanh(l/a))
@NMSPhysicsISAC

Let say for example tana is there but it would be some length by some length and in thi given setup only two lengths are given so the value of that willl remain same if we change these two lengths in same ratio but dimensionally answer will have something l^x and a^ y

Logarithmic, exponential, and trigonometric functions shouldn't have any defined dimensions of their own. I'm sure you went through the algebraic expansions of these functions, you'll probably find different terms raised to different powers and all are in addition/subtraction. Therefore their domain can't have any term with defined unit/dimensions.

Respected sir .. Sir i wanted to know when we throw a ball at a certain angle with some velocity in water it bounces off and continues 2 to 3 time or more... I am intrested to know how can we mathematically find velocities angles how many times it bounce ..etc. Please reply my comment sir ..

It is my favourite example when I explain my beliefs in unification theory By quoting this example theoretically i show reflectivity increases on increasing angle of incidence. Give me some time i will love to discuss its mathematics ( even if less people will see😂) But i loved it that someone asked it. Thank you

Sir, here you assume -U1 > -U, then how point D can be below point C. I think the increase in potential energy from -U(relaxed) to -U1( stretched) is due to elasticity of rope, then potential energy at point E can't be U1. At D, potential energy should be -U + U(Elastic) - C At E, potential energy should be U + U(Elastic) + C where -C is loss in potential energy on moving point C to D.

The rope was never stretched in length. It is just that the natural hanging shape is deformed as a triangular shape.

The actual thing that is meant to be addressed in the question is, "the new position of centre of mass when the mid point 'C' meets the point 'F'. One way to interpret the situations, which avoid the Little mathematical hindrance at some degree😂, it could be, The length of the rope got halved. The separation of the nails got halved. Gravity won't discriminate in any of the situations, Therefore both the figures are actually similar. It is just the previous scene is magnified version of later one with magnification 2. So any length measured in 1st situation will be the double of the similar length measured in 2nd situation. The same goes for the position of the centre of mass. So the position of centre of mass should be half in length of the previous one. It is just that we don't need any calculation of the enclosed areas, otherwise any similar calculated areas would have the ratio "4 : 1" However both the explanations either a little bit mathematical as sir discussed in the video, or this one, are one and the same thing with different sentences used.😂
