It looks like a Mini Plymouth Barracuda, which makes it all the more impressive. This would make a great hot rod engine, can you imagine this in a 1927 Model T roadster? I can.

I love rotaries as much as the next guy (R8 is still on my wish list of cars to own) but since my experiences in the Lexus SC400 I have been waiting patiently for another v8 coupe from Japan. And I though about the classic body lines and a high revving V8 would blend perfectly.

It hardly needs a V8. It's a rotary. Revs higher, is smaller, lighter, and more agile. Go watch some videos of "V8 Supercars" vs Rotaries. Interesting stuff. :)

can somebody explain to me how the supercharger ties in with the porting of the rotary? it's not a very common topic and would love to know how it works? like how do you position the manifold on the engine? do you have to re- position the injectors? or run a carby set up? this has my brain ticking over... cheers to those to help me understand it a little better

@Arebeekharne uhhhh....just go read up on the rotary. It was invented by a German and perfected by the Japanese. Not American muscle anywhere in that equation.

@mattyb1177 that would suggest you can't drive. It would be easier in your car than something with crazy horsepower. Car control is something you'll learn over time.

@omfgwtfbbq90 Might as well be American. Compare this Mazda to any American real muscle car and you can see why the troll says american. In America, this would be called a "Resto-mod"
