Thank you for tuning in! This is a minimal remix that I believe yields a highly pleasing outcome. I've received recommendations from multiple subscribers for a single-vocal-tracked stereo remix of 'And I Love Her' by The Beatles. With some Beatles songs now allowed on KZitem, this concept intrigued me, as I've always favored the mono version of this song, which featured a single-tracked vocal, with the exception of the choruses.
In this 2024 true stereo remix, I've utilized Giles Martin's 2023 official remix as the base and substituted the double-tracked vocal in the verses with the single-tracked vocal from the mono release. This adjustment provides McCartney's vocal performance with a more natural and overall pleasing sound. You'll immediately notice that his vocals sound crisper and more lifelike, as the distortion in the sibilance of the double-tracked version is reduced.
I took meticulous steps to ensure that the decay of the reverb from the stereo version was matched accurately. No artificial acoustics were employed. Nothing new was added that was not part of The Beatle's original recording. This remix simply involves the separation of vocals and instruments, followed by a respectful remixing of these elements, honoring the original recording.
