RIP to one of the great acoustic Jazz Pianists: McCoy Tyner. I saw him live in Berlin and what a fantastic concert this was!

Let me start over---my #$%^&*() computer wouldn't let me finish. What you're hearing is the extended version of "Fly With The Wind", and it's a real honey. McCoy Tyner and his big band have put together an absolute masterpiece; if I had to categorize it I would call it a modern "third-stream" composition, a fusion of jazz, symphonic and a few other elements. And I have not been able to get it out of my head; also, I keep thinking that it's eerily reminiscent of John Coltrane's "Song Of The Underground Railroad" in its structure---we must remember that McCoy worked with Trane on the "Africa/Brass" album and probably picked up a couple of ideas to work with here. And here's something else: it's supposed to be in C minor, but I keep hearing it in E-flat minor---which I like much better. Any more like this, Mr. Tyner?
