An extraordinary man! He never looked very comfortable being interviewed but quite the opposite in all the roles he played.

I have this documentary and I love it because it's one of those rare pieces of video where you can see him being himself. Except for the fact that he's not speaking in his Irish Brogue. I also love hearing him when he giggles over some things. Very precious.

@@RussiaAmericanDream I didn't post this but the entire interview, there are actually two of them in this documentary, which is titled "In My Mind". Wonderful interviews with his oldest daughter, Catherine. If you are a true Patrick McGoohan fan you would make it a part of your collection of his works.

I'm having trouble finding words to express how much seeing this means to me. Thank you. "He means what he is." Yes. Brilliant.

McGoohan was one of a kind and far more intelligent than majority of his fellow actors. Something that has never mentioned or written is a film called The Prisoner 1955 with Alec Guinness , besides the same same title the whole Idea has many similarities that its very unlikely he didn't use it for inspiration. The Hard Way 1979 with Lee Van Cleef is another excellent work that is a must see. My channel is based on The Prisoner tv series , its unnerving ability in predicting many of todays issues is recognised by many. If only actors had a moral compass and responsibility now then film would be in a better place.

Attractive man even when older someone who could say much more than he actually said as he was such a deep thinker. I like Prisoner but I like the real Patrick more as he played himself in The Prisoner, resilient and a fighter. Clearly determined to get the series on the tv with the kind help of lew Grade who saw something amazing , he gave him a chance to express his viewpoint. We scoff at the 60s but they were the innovators

This is more about PRODUCTION. Is there an interview with McGoohan talking about the SYMBOLISM in the show, the predictive programming, revelation of the method and the whistleblowing disguised as science fiction that was encoded into the show? That's the important part to me.

There is an interview with him where he discusses the prisoner series and it’s on the channel The Ministry of Truth. I’ve only recently come across this series and I’m currently watching it again….its amazing how much you miss the first time. The prisoner series is so obviously coded with esoteric and psychological symbolism and he does allude to this in that interview I mentioned above (although it’s within the restricted limits these subjects tend to have when it comes to revealing them). I’m quite surprised there aren’t more commentary videos viewers by truth seekers analysing the series and it’s subtle symbolism….or maybe it’s simply the algorithms aren’t revealing them. If you know of any good esoteric discussion videos on the series I’d love to hear about them. 💕😁👍🏻

The Prisoner was John Drake quitting the show and the producers sent him way to that island to get even...They were going to do the same to Mr.s Peel , but Steed interceded on her behalf. Hahahaha.

Fascinating interview. Just a shame that for some odd reason, you can't hear any of the questions the woman is asking him. Any idea when and on what programme (DVD?) this was taken from please?
@frankshailes3205

It's a man asking the questions - Chris Rodley, presumably.

It looks like it has been filmed off a TV on a phone, I'm not surprised it's low quality! Since it's from a Network DVD this is a bit odd.

This interview can be found in full and in better quality on the DVD "In my mind". Bought it recently and can recommend it. And yep, it is Chris Rodley who is asking the questions.

You are opening this in Quick Time player. Instead of filming the video being played on the screen how about you just upload the Quick Time file to KZitem? Because the static background noise makes it nearly impossible to understand a word. Would be wonderful and lovely if you could just upload the video. Thanks a lot!

The audio was so bad, I could barely hear anything, The film quality and lighting was appalling too. All up, an extremely amateurish, low budget, low quality production. A fine example of how to ruin a short interview, by using zero-talent filmmakers.

@Angelo papas No not a tv screen. There is a curser on the screen. This is a computor or a laptop screen.
