im here wondering about force feedback, project cars with g27 and 100% is hard for my hands, is it really true what they say that like at 200-300kph the steering is very hard, like 200% in game?`like going into corner at 3 or 4th gear @ 130kps the steering wheel wants to turn hard back? if yes racing is very hard.
@AlexanderWest

DNA Zef1yyy varies from car to car. Ferraris are usually quite light on the steering. the P1 GTR still light, but not as light as the P1 GTR, the Mclaren 650GT3 is less light, but no in general it is not the steering that makes you tired. it is the heat in the car, the intensity of your brain activity ;0, and braking effort on cars with no servos or very little (F1, GT3). The aircon in the P1 GTR and FXX K is so good that you hardly break a sweat
@MikeeCZ

The livery is epic. You can see how violent the car is just by the camera shakes on coasting...So. you gotta own a road P1 to be even able to buy the GTR correct? Does this mean you are amongst the lucky few or is the car borrowed to you somehow?

I just checked: at the apex of T6 at 2:00 the dash shows 121 km/h, which is 75 mph. I've personally done 76.8 mph in a 205 hp Subaru BRZ with no aero and 260 TW tires with budget coilovers. You can see the onboard on my channel, and I've just separately checked my GPS data log. I think the P1 can do a lot faster than that in T6 :)

well that is not a very fair comparison but, GTR and FXX-K would be first, followed by the 599xx as they have slicks, Vulcan possibly 4th, and then the road cars, at Laguna my guess is hte 918 wins of the Koenigsegg. but any GT3 car would beat the whole lot.

Davey Johnson absolutely nothing is holding that car back it's just he's got turns he's had to make so he keeps his speed lower..... you put this car in a straight away and you're hit the KERS system and the DRS system at the same time you'll be going well over 200mph

ONLY to be used on straights ;). every little bit helps, makes more of a difference on a track like Barcelona where the top speed is much higher. at Laguna you dont really go much faster than 150mph, vs 190+ at tracks like Barcelona

@AlexanderWest
8 жыл бұрын
Not sure which corners you are talking about, but on tight corners, inside is shorter and less distance is a lot of time quicker. and in a number of corners you take a double apex approach. so inside in the beginning, let it drift out a little bit and then hit the second apex on the way out.
@DonLee1980
8 жыл бұрын
Alexander West of course the double apex approach is easier. But even that you can still take a wider line and more entry speed. Having aero makes that even more important. Certainly taking the corner tighter you don't lose too much time but if you took the corner wider you can also brake later. Randy Pobst usually trail-brakes into that hairpin and reaches min speed much later after the first apex, turns and accelerates before the 2nd apex. The time he spends at minimum corner speed is at an absolute minimum.
