If you have the scope and the rifle, you put the two together and you can see how much clearance you need for your bolt handle to clear the scope and to get behind it and see through it, that is the safest way to find that height. If you have both, you can shim under your scope (a stack of coins work well) to hold the scope in place so you can see about clearance and viewability. With different length picatinny scope bases and different lengths of main tubes that can bring your scope closer to your rail and make contact, there are too many variables to have a cut and dry answer unfortunately.

@@MDTTAC my comment was referring to what the closed captioning spelled out. I know you said eye relief but the words on the screen spelled it differently. Just thought it was funny. Nothing wrong
