Update: I did take an extra week, but I ended up making this recipe last Sunday. I prepared the chicken and hummus following your recipes to the tee, but did a more traditional lebanese version of a tabouli salad because I was missing a couple of ingredients for your take. I want to say that I have been LOVING my meals this week! The chicken is extremely tasty and heats up really well and the hummus is DELISH! This was the first time of me making it and I think I don't ever want to go back to store-bought. Next time I'll try your tabouli version as well! Thank you so much for inspiring me to take charge of my meals!

I don't want to be like that and will instead take action :) I really like your channel and the recipes and the whole vibe, it's really, really nice and as other ppl say I'm glad I found your channel. By the way, because of this thing with the metric system I found some really interesting information about why the USA doesn't use it, it's really interesting!! and I respect the reasons, and now I believe the rest of the world should respect these decitions :) End of the story. Amazing, I can't wait to try it! But that hummus was as far from authentic as can be :D. I'm sure it was tasty, but he starchy "fart water" from canned chick beans is actually liquid gold, you should never throw it away or underestimate it's culinary value. You should have skinned the beans before blending and you also should have slowly added more cold water into the mixture. Your hummus was grainy and way too thick. There wasn't enough tahini. Cumin is not optional, it's a key ingredient in traditional lebanese hummus. And you're not supposed to add olive oil into the blender. Just add a generous pour on the finished dish.
@fixnwrtr
5 жыл бұрын
I've always questioned your use of grains, but I finally get it. You are doing keto, but you're not doing yourself a favor by not ditching the grains. Grains are bad. Give them up. At least you haven't included wheat; that would be the first step in the wheat addiction.

I'm sooo happy I found this channel! I'm starting a new job and have wanted to start food prepping, but everything else on KZitem seems so unappetising! Can't wait to try this recipe out 🙌 Thank you 😍

Yay!! Love this meal prep. I've made it 3 times already lol. The only thing difference is I squeezed real oranges instead of using orange juice for the glaze...only cuz I didn't have any oj on hand :)) Will be making more recipes!!!

Considering the quality ingredients, it's a good price. You gotta feed your body good food ;)

It's not a good price as you can get other good foods for less, and I and most other guys like myself would have to eat 2 of them as a meal

What can you use as a substitute if you don’t have tahini? Or can you just leave it out?
@BobbyParrish

My question is you meal prep it for the week. Does it stay good for a week or do you find maybe the last couple days they are starting to go bad?

For chicken I wouldn't prep longer than 3 days. everything else here held well but the chicken gets iffy after day 4. That's just personal preference. I still found it to be tasty, just gets dry being in the fridge for long

What kind of watch/band is that? I’m hoping it’s an Apple Watch because I need that band. Lol.

I like your prep meal, I was wondering, can I include shaved off broccoli florets (sans the stem) in the homemade taboulleh? Also, I have gram Marsala seasoning, I think I would try that on the chicken and see how that turns out. Love the easy prep and the vibrant colors in the food, I subbed.😊

Thanks for the love & sub! Defo use shaved broccoli florets in the tabouli and garam masala would work just fine ;) Let me know how it goes

Your videos are one of my favorites to watch! They are so informative and everything you make always looks delicious and healthy. Did you say fart water when referring to the canned chickpeas? lol
