Hey guys, wondering if you have already done, or would consider doing a vlog on how to plan a Disneyworld holiday. So overwhelmed and no idea where to start 😅

Hi Rach, you could freeze the sandwich crusts until you have enough to make a bread and butter pudding. It’s a cheap and easy dessert from all your leftovers. 😊

That’s also a good idea! I’ll just have to make sure not to get Vegemite on the crust 😂

I made a yummy snack today. Mini red and yellow capsicums from Aldi, filled with cream cheese, crushed garlic, thinly sliced spring onion and a squeeze of lemon juice - they were delicious. Hope you keep feeling better Rach. 🌸

@@OneOfADozenI cut them off prior. I also make the grandkids sushi, or rollo sandwiches, which are just rolled out crustless bread with a filling. I roll them and cut them like sushi rolls and they love them.

What goes in your potato salad? Never thought to put celery but that would be so good

I was today years old when I learnt there was shelf stable creamed cheese. Adding that to my next shop 👏

Interesting. Is your cream cheese shelf stable? In the US, we have to keep ours in the fridge.

Most of them are for the fridge but there’s a couple of cream cheese spreads we keep in the pantry until they are opened (and then in the fridge) ☺️

Love watching your meal prep and cooking videos. I love your organisation! Just a thought, if you are taking the snacks like pretzels and grain waves out of the packs it would maybe be more economical to buy the bigger packs instead of the multipacks? The big packs of grain waves go half price too

Yes I probably should get the bigger packets for the boys ☺️ The teenagers take the little individual ones to school though so they are handy for that.

Definitely handy for older kids and so they don't overeat too

Where are the little boys lunch boxes from?

I got them from “the organised housewife” but she has since shut her business. I’m dreading when they break or if we lose them because they have been brilliant.

I saw similar 3 compartment light weight plastic lunch boxes in Kmart! Black lids.

Another quick and delicious use of the bread ends is to mix a cup of milk, two eggs, sultanas and some small knobs of butter and cook in the over for bread and butter pudding. Fried rice is always a hit in our household but takes a lot of time to prepare with all the dicing.
