I think that you and one other archaeologists are the only real deals that I have ever had the pleasure being taught . It's all right not to know. It's not right to deliberately mislead. I like to see your own site work .

Hey Nathanael, what is the "environmental quirk" that makes radiocarbon dating archaic-woodland boundary hard to nail down?

Do you do published reports on the sites and work your researching? If so are they available for review to curious people like me who just like to read?

You might be able to find the report for site 1MA1167 online somewhere. That's the most interesting one.

What is the wood artifact survival probability from the late archaic period? Are there any unique locations that increase the possible wooden artifacts survival ?

Im still abit confused about the shell mound builders. Changing society on the scale required to produce such a massive difference in behaviour usually has a big explanation like an invasion or maybe enviromental change which resulted in the obvious shift in their beliefs and behaviour. If they invaded, where did they come from as you would expect similar beliefs to be evident at their origin?? And if shellfish wasnt food, why were they obsessed with using it in a ritualistic context? even if its food, thats still odd. The only thing obvious about them is ALOT more work needs to be done to figure out all the missing parts of their story.

Do you know of any Clovis or pre-Clovis sites in Indiana?

Google "PIDBA." The maps aren't super precise because we don't want looters knowing where they are, but you can see the spatial distribution.

Nate the Great ! Hello. Being an Archaeology fan, love the show and the content you choose. And we need more rebellious characters in the field, for sure... ADVICE (warranted or not) : The focal point of your eyes while reading/speaking to the audience is fucking terrible. It drives people absolutely crazy. If a person "uses the eyes "- like you do in your videos- in real life..... You would think the fuckin guy is retarded and/or mentally il and if not that, then severely socially awkward... Just sayin'.... this one aspect of your presentation is all I have to criticize. Hopefully, it is helpful advice? Or you think I'm a dirtbag, most likely. It was meant to help, honestly.
