Yeah from the surface view, I'm sure most people who aren't big fans probably just think he's in it for shock, to be gross/perverse, or to instigate some kind of intense reaction from everyone who watches them... But there's so much depth and meaning, And even (subtle or hiding between the lines) morality that's encoded into the DNA of his content/art, with a lot of valuable lessons that can be taken away from a lot of them... Not all but definitely a decent amount.

As long as you keep doing your thing, I don’t think you’ll ever fade away. Unlike most of the garbage other people put out. Which is just the same boring shit on repeat. You’re actually super funny, talented and original. You’re not pretending to be anything, or trying to impress anyone. It’s just you being you. And you’re hilarious.

17:30 hearing the small shaking in your voice is really sad. I personnally found your channel pretty recently and have known Meat Canyon animations for much longer. But the thing is, I just love your regular videos when you react to 80's movies or dumb posts. You have a great personality and you seem genuinely nice. Since the video is a year old at the time of writing this commentary, you seem in a much better place but just in case, don't worry and feel good about your work.

I love.. Love, when artists are honest on their work. Even if its a fine piece of abstract, it looks unique and so on, people have their own view points on their own work. Artists learn after every piece they make, and can have every emotion they feel about it in the end. Take your breaks Meat man, and the crew themselves if they have too. Everyone needs a breather, and away from the internet is especially a lift of being stress-free.

The Markiplier one was so dumb and unexpected that it became one of my favorites pretty much instantly. And then Mark actually saw the video, loved it, and used the line at the end to make the title for the video he uploaded the day after. Pretty cool to see. Also, your Dora video helped me show my Spanish speaking coworkers how funny KZitem can be. Thanks for that! Hope you just keep having fun and taking things at your own pace, man. Some of these fans or haters are just playing some silly games.

I love when an artist can evaluate their own work so well. The whole time I was thinking "he better put Bob the yokai in S". It was a definite cut above the rest and I'm glad he could recognize that and take it seriously as art rather just viewing it as another internet cartoon.

The fact that Bob the Yokai centered around a moral lesson, while using Japanese voice acting just elevated that video to insane heights.

The statement made at 17:45 is one of profound self awareness. I hope you are able to find your peace. This may sound trite, but whenever I've paused at the door to work with a huge sigh in my chest, my mantra has always been, "Well, you're not digging out the moat, are you?" I found it interesting at first that my favorites of your toons were at the bottom of your tier list. Maybe these two messages in this comment say all there is to know about me. Idk

Late to the party but I thought about this lately. I posted a comment on a "Wabbit Season" TikTok saying how it was the beginning of great things, and people were saying how it was the best video ever. I thought it was funny and had that shock factor, but there are so many beautiful pieces of art throughout the MC catalog. Seeing you critique the thought process behind the 2021 videos acknowledges that I'm not overthinking these videos at all while I watch them. Love ya Papa!

I legit had no idea that you put this much thought in your cartoons. I always thought that it was just a funny stupid idea you had but there is so much more in these horror toons that I think people don't see. Great work man can't wait to see what you got next. But please rest you can't work if your dead.

I did love “my first sleep over” watch it often. Since it’s very personal and you actually appear in it as person. I really love your personal projects as with your series. I hope you rest up and do more things you actually enjoy doing art. Good views or not, that’s you.

If I was making a tier list of your content, which I have seen all of multiple times and have been following since I was in University way back in 2017, no video would be below B tier for me and possibly A! Your channels have been the most consistently entertaining I have ever followed and to see your rise in success and artistic skill has been incredible. I know you have said that its taken its tole, certain times you have been burned out and you talk about the channel fading away, but I don't think that with you at the helm this ship is ever going to sink. You bring so much comedic and artistic talent to the videos you make I can only see it getting better as you collaborate with other creators and improve your own skills. So please take as much time as you need for breaks and time off from this platform as you need, I think the fans you have (certainly me!) will still be here when you get back as I always look forward to a new video coming and don't have any expectations of when I think one should be coming. It's like Jontrons schedule, the fans are just happy to see that notification and a new video from a talented and funny creator....and yes I am talking about you as well as Jontron! I have had a tough last couple of years with my diagnosis of Bone Cancer and your content has been a source of entertainment when I needed it most (I can't tell you the amount of times a nurse would come in my hospital room to check-up on me and I would be cackling like a demonic person or on a couple of occasions come running in when they heard your screams from the tablet thinking I'd fallen out of bed.....I requested headphones from home after the second incident of that!) So thankyou for what you do, I hope you have an awesome break, and I look forward to when you return with another banger of a video! Love and support from a loyal fan from Wales, UK

Yes throughout this entire tier list I was waiting for Bob the Builder to show up. I love that cartoon so much and it definitely belongs in S tier. As disturbing as it is it's a very important lesson I think should be taught to every young man growing up.

That bloo cloo speech about not staying on top forever was a real bummer, but also a real eye-opener for me on how KZitemrs may personally view their art differently from viewers. Great work this year, Hunter! Here’s to a great ‘22 as well.
