0:37 What is the sub-mechanism that is forcing forward the individual "vanes" as they approach the outlet? This pump doesn't make any sense unless that sub-mechanism is shown. Please correct me if I am wrong.
@mamunsw
9 ай бұрын
No you are not wrong. Vanes are connected to the hub which is driven by an electric motor or any external force but this is not shown in this video. Thank you for your comment.
@adamchurvis1
9 ай бұрын
@@mamunswActually, I see it now! The vanes are always leading their pivot point and so they are naturally forced outward by centripetal force, but it's the eccentricity of the hub versus the static circular body that accelerates the vanes around that static body as they approach the outlet -- which is also closest to the hub. Kind of brilliant, actually. Thanks for the video! BTW, I watch these at one-quarter speed to really enjoy them more.
@mamunsw
9 ай бұрын
Fantastic! You are also brilliant that is why you found out the real beauty of this mechanism. Yes, it is eccentric and where the hub is closer to the circular body that means near the outlet it takes less time for vanes to pass and so its speed is more than the other side. @@adamchurvis1 We feel proud and get more enthusiasm to make more videos when someone like you appreciates our work.
