This is why Medal of Honor is the best. It is based off real events and it even shows us the message on how soldiers deserve the utmost respect because of how much they sacrifice. You can whine and bitch about how much Medal of Honor has been Neglected and how COD and Battlefield are the best, but you can not deny that Medal of Honor deserves praise for actually honoring those who really did fight by giving us a simple and straight foward message on how soldiers give the greatest sacrifice any man or women can ever give.
@overipecanine1485

***** Perfect example of how special the Medal of Honor series really is. The series as a whole is meant to show the sacrifice that every single soldier on the battlefield gives and how their brotherhood carries them through the hell our petty arguments put them through, For them to use the actual experiences of soldiers is just perfect because it is the only true way to portray the reality of war as accurately as possible for the player.

"War is long, brutal, unpleasant, and treacherous. Those who travel this path will find that it will get worse before it gets better. While very few have the courage to push on despite such misery and heartache, those who do, will also learn that through the path of Hell, Heaven lies at the end of their journey and that their sacrifice was not in vain." This is a personal quote I wrote a few years back, my way honoring soldiers who sacrifice everything for our sake. This game may not be ground breaking in any way, but it has one of the best written stories about the emotion of war. And is also the second game to ever make me cry. (Mass Effect 3 being the first). My thanks, for our heroes, who sacrifice so much so we may sleep peacefully at night.

"In war no one is picked for everyone is chosen. No one's a hero for everyone is a victim." This is my interpretation of war. It's not honorable there is nothing poetic. But sometimes things happen and you just have to do what you have to do....Most of the time it's not pretty.

I just went through this game, I didn't really get the feel that this game was to be for the hardcore gamers, but more for the soldiers, and for them to tell a story through a game, and when I kicked down the door at the ending, I wanted to find them alive. I really did almost cry when I saw that rabbit had troubles staying alive, I was touched that soldiers take so good care of eachother, and that is why I think this game is great, it strikes your heart.
