Nice items. The Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz is the real deal and is a early thin pin example. They, along with several de-nazified combat awards, were issued for former Wehrmacht soldiers who had re-enlisted into the new Bundeswehr but they were also available on the open market for former service personnel.

A Victoria cross was made from a old Waterloo French cannon. The 1957 German wound badge is a nice one. It's a piece from an old German vet. People collect 1957er medals.

Hi Stan. the Victoria cross is a fake and there is basically no way to 'find' an original as all but 1 are accounted for. As for how they are made, A single company of jewellers, Hancocks & Co, has been responsible for the production of every VC awarded since its inception on the 29 of January 1854. They are made out of 2 Bronze cannons that were captured off the Russians at Sebastopol in the Crimean war of 1853-6. To answer your question of are they named, yes they are on the reverse of the suspender and with the date of the action on the centre of the reverse. The wound badge is a nice 57' version nothing more to say about it really.
