The song is Turkish. Some parts have been taken from the "Huma Kuşu - Devrim KAYA" In this soundtrack; She says At 0:19 = "Ah Layık mıdır?" means "Ah! Does worthy? At 0:45 = "Islanır" means "It gets wet" (mentioned eyelash because of crying) At 1:22 = "Bu da bunun kuludur" means "this is her slave"

Alien to you maybe. To me, the music reminds me of contemporary modern Greek and Turkish music, the influences dating back to that time and even further into antiquity. How it feels to be marching for 4 months through the dry lands of Anatolia in the year 1097. And when you finaly get to Antioch, you still have to endure a 8 months siege with barely any food or water. Crusaders went through hell
@ragnarlothbrok8355

Anatolia has rich and plentyful water sources but the obstacle for Crusaders was Turkish beyliks and sultanates closed or dried every source of water so Europeans can't go further, or at least they lose some men and get sick.
@clem8818
3 жыл бұрын
@@ragnarlothbrok8355 There actually was something like this, specially in the crusaders' siege of Jerusalem when the fatimids blocked the wells in the region. But one factor that actually worsened the crusaders' march through Anatolia was climate change. The world weather was dramatically changing by the end of the 11th century; it had caused a drought in Europe during the 1090s and throwed the Near East into famine and economic disorder. This "medieval warm period" even messed with nomadic patterns. So it is highly possible that Anatolia was hard hitted by this warm and dry season.

End of, since nether off us are muslim this is a flawed argument with no point other than contradiction.

No, we're the only sane ones here. Anime is a disease, and those who consume it must be purged. I mean schoolgirls with katanas? That's the crap I expect from little girls who watched way too much Mulan not grown men. And multicolored hair? And those ridiculous eyes? And the overly sexualized everything? Are you serious? Those anime girls aren't arousing, they're nausating. Normal human beings don't look like that. There is literally no human being on the face of the Earth who looks like that, and if there is, may God have mercy on them. And don't even get me started on the creepy merchandising? You're the fine fools who gave us body pillows. ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?! BODY PILLOWS?! Look, it's one thing to watch anime porn and squeeze one out before bed, it's another thing to have a goddamn semen encrusted pillow which you fall in love with. Your grandfathers ran headfirst into machine gun fire and killed men with their bare hands at your age. Your collective ancestry would be appalled at this anime trend. Did those men who stormed the beaches of Iwo Jima and Okinawa die so you could masturbate to Japanese school girls? Did those brave pilots fly suicide runs over Berlin and and Tokyo every night for 5 years so that you could snuggle with a pillow with childporn painted on it? If your plan for turning us into secularists is to introduce us to this degenerate filth you call "anime", then I am sorry good sir but you have failed. May God have mercy on your truly twisted soul.

The 4th Crusade was indeed some Venetian shit, but we're talking about the cause of the 1st Crusade, the later actions were defined by it. Unfortunately the Catholics saw no difference with the Copts, Orthodox or Armenian churches with the pagans or Muslims. But once again, the Byzantines pretty much called it on themselves. And don't say ''yours,'' I'm not a Catholic. Oh, and the Pope never led a Crusade, he only sanctioned them, he wasn't responsible for any of their actions after that.

Well remember the Ottomans went from 1299 to 1923 so...it is kind of a long time. To be honest most Muslims were fairly tolerant at the start, then extremists took over one time after another and things got worse but overall they were fairly tolerant of the "religions of the book" (Christianity and Judaism) from the Umayyad Caliphate to the Ottomans themselves. Can't really say the same of our side really although Jews were at least tolerated in many cities before the 13th century...
@MeAndMeYT

Don't even give shit about history if you're going to be wrong boy, that ''give me the lands you conquer'' bit was improvised when the Crusading armies got to Constantinople. They gave all the lands until they hit Antioch, at which point the Byzantines refused to send support as against their agreement. The Byzantines screwed the Crusaders and got the better bargain of the deal; most of their lands back and the Turks focusing elsewhere.
