Pat died in 1987, so this documentary must be from before then. Judging by the color and Pat's age, I would put this in the early 80's, possibly 81 or 82.

excellent powers of deduction: it must have been recorded before he died 🤣

That opening music (approx. 2 minutes in) has got to be Vaughan Williams. Does anybody know for sure?

Thank you so much. I’m always happy to add another of Vaughan Williams' works to my classical favorites list. Ever since I was a child & sang in a boys choir, along with a mass choir & symphony orchestra, performing Vaughan Williams' 'Hodie', I have been a huge fan of his music & can usually spot it a mile away. The list is long & it just grew longer.

Patrick Troughton sounds so likeable in this narration.... who would have known what a horrible man he was.... his poor kids and wife.....😳

_there's a big difference between being a horrible man, and not being a very good father._ _everyone speaks very highly of patrick so watch what you say._

Think you can separate personal life from a persons acting . if we didn't do that we would have no people left to like
