This meditation is meant for use during your vaginal dilator sessions. Pelvic Floor expert Melissa Patrick provides suggestions for creating a relaxing environment and then leads you into meditation while you practice dilating.
Research shows that people who create a soothing environment and use elements of mindfulness during their dilator sessions make the most progress. Using meditation we can increase messages of safety to your nervous system, therefore helping your pelvic floor muscles to let go of their protective tone.
Melissa will guide you to find a sense of calm in your body before inserting the dilator. Once the dilator is inserted, you can listen to Melissa’s gentle directions to keep your breath flowing and your mind at ease.
