Corps of Exploration member Malanai Kāne Kuahiwinui is the Kuahiwinui Kū Paʻa Mau Program Coordinator & Crew Captain at the Kānehūnāmoku Voyaging Academy at home on Oahu. Sailing onboard E/V Nautilus as a Science Communication Fellow and Lead mentor Fellow, Malanai shares her experience as an ocean explorer and science educator.
