Ron Previte never made any claims about being an angel. He freely admits to being a criminal, "I tried to commit a felony every day" , he knew exactly what he was and what he was doing. He never sugar-coats anything or makes excuses for what he did, I huess that's what makes him so believable.

@@albundy6008 Lol, I don't think thats true. There was a point where his father had effectively disowned him for his departure from the life. In fact, leave alone after his departure from the life, there was a point even when he was a bona-fide, top earning Mafioso that his father didn't even lift a finger to try and protect his son when their bosses in the Colombo family got a little antsy about him earning too much and getting too big for his shoes and might've had him "disappear". I saw him post something online around 2005-2006 saying he was a snitch for the govt. and now he was free. I figured that whoever he snitched on just died so he wasn't worried anymore. He bought a place in Escazu Costa Rica he called Hotel California and he rented apartments. Escazu is very close to San Jose. It is where alot of Gringos live. I am pretty sure he is still there. You see all these people talking about rats, and while I will agree that virtually everybody in this documentary is just the lowest of scum, I don't think being a "rat" is the worst thing you could be in that life. These are people that murder, extort, lie, cheat, steal, and you are going to trash talk people for turning coat on that type of person? This isn't tattling were talking about, there are lives, entire existences these people have ruined, or ended, and you want to defend these people? It's not like the movies, it's not like TV. I come from a Sicilian family on my mother's side, and somewhere in my family line there were a few people I know did these things, and it is not glamorous. Not if you care about anyone else. Not if you have a good heart even in the slightest.
