Who Dey Howard 🐅. We just missed you guys at RMNP. We were there July 27-30th before heading on to Grand Teton. The momma moose & babies were awesome. We didn’t get to see any moose this year but saw several there in 2022. Last year we were passed by an elk on Fall River Road. Enjoyed the video.

Thanks for sharing with us as always!! Love the marmots and moose. My cousin and I saw moose when we were there but sadly didn't get to see marmots. Also so cool to see the triple lake trail not covered in snow as we couldn't complete it when we were there because we weren't prepared for all the snow! Love yall's videos, it's so fun to ride along with yall.

I was about 2 weeks behind you. I also stayed at the same campground and took the Old Fall River road. At the top I the road we saw a moose by the trees below and 3 elks near by. So worth the drive.! Your posting brought back such fond memories! Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience.

I lived 13 years in Colorado mostly in Steamboat Springs, but spent 2 summer’s living in the Fraser Valley (Grandy/Winter Park). RMNP is such a beautiful place, have all throughout that area and was able to see/enjoy an abundance of wildlife…marmots have to be favoritest! 😊 Anyways, thank you for sharing your National Adventures with us! As always, stay safe out there….

The color of the lake doesn't even look real! I just learned that there were moose in Colorado too. I had no idea. I though moose were only in Maine & Alaska. That Mama with her 2 babies were so cute! The babies are adorable! I don't know if I could drive that road. I'm afraid I would get nervous and drive right off the cliff. Waterfall was beautiful!

Thanks, Sandra! We put off visiting Rocky Mountain for too long, but so glad it delivered with wildlife and beautiful scenery. Like we mentioned, "Where's the moose?" was the NUMBER ONE question the ranger was asked while walking during the program. 😂👍 - Howard

Talk about seeing mountain majesties - this NP definitely has that factor going for it. I have to ask this question about the Alpine Road. Was that road one way going up to the Alpine Center, and then from there you accessed a paved road? Momma Moose and her twins was such a special sight to see. Thank you for sharing that and all the wonders of this beautiful Park with us. Stay well & safe travels.
@NewstateNomads
Жыл бұрын
Such a gorgeous park, Lis! Yes, the dirt road was one-way (though historically, it WASN'T, which is kind of mind blowing with the width of the road), so you make a loop of it by driving back on the main park road from the Alpine Visitor Center. We feel beyond blessed to see the Moose and twins! 👍 - Howard

We drove FallRiver Pass in (BION) a 1967 Austin Healey 3000 MK III! There was no 4x4 high clearance warning then. Ah, the stupidity of youth! It was worth it and we didn’t scrape even once. No, I’m not that Sprague! 😂 Thanks for the memories.

We discussed moving back in depth during our recent live, but like we said way back in the announcement video back in January, the Vista NPF was always a loaner for the Parks tour. Winnebago gave us the choice of moving back into our Navion during Grand National Rally (held at the factory in Iowa) or in the winter also at the factory. We chose the warmer weather to move between RVs. 🤣👍 -Howard

I guess I missed the episode where you guys got rid of your Winnebago National Parks RV. It’s great because the US National Parks, which are paid for by US taxpayers, should not be “sponsored” by corporations like Winnebago. There are still some things that are sacred in the USA.
