There is nothing like this now, but even fewer people know about the amazing legacy of historical figures, which is sad, but I still come back a re-watch these with relish. "Great artists steal." I have stolen this brilliant idea and format from the late, great Steve Allen and have my university students replicate them using people associated with topics we're examining. Students must become experts in the character, biography, and thinking of the person they are assigned so that they can accurately answer questions and engage in debate with their fellow guests around the table. The rewards of this activity are too numerous to list here. I always explain who Steve Allen was and give him full credit for this genius idea.
