i run a fiat allis 261b elevator scraper. there's just not too many left out there. it's still a damn good machine we just cant find parts for it any more.

scrapers are not worth anything anymore. Have seen 2 637G scrapers with 5,000 hours go for $300,000 each new were $890,000 637D models are sellin g around $20,000 637E & series 2 $50k to $100K

BUT These streets are fat!! you could still use some 637's before this scraper is needed.. and someone please fix that haul road... that was a bumpy down hill stretch before he started to load.. ..

My father taught me on an old Wabco 222F I was 8 yo ..the old loader Cat 22 Front end loader,and old Cat grader.mostly sandpit work,a few times on the Cat D9..Ripping the floors for a new shopping centre at Cherry gardens in Adelaide's South...while dad had his new Cat 622Scraper elevating while I rippedthe floors along side him...funny story,at Cherry gardens, wasn't much space either side dad was going past opposite. .and he's laughing pointing at the bloody snakes,while , they're falling onto the cab of the dozer...everywhere...scared me senseless...I wish I could get back into it all,..I could go on and on,but Will not bother you more so.. Thank you for that reminder..all the best Jaimie.......
