Yeah, but how many guitarists you know who can make order out of chaos as well as Dave? He has keen sense of making the most out of his limited technical knowledge, filling all the spaces with pure angst. Alot of metal guitarists could learn alot from Dave. You hear a Dave solo, you know it's him.

Man no matter how many times I listen to it. I cannot wrap my mind around how Chris Poland uses the harmonics and feedback so well in that intro solo. It's seriously like a magic trick what he does at 0:54. If there was one thing I'd ask him if I ever get the chance is. What gear he was using and how exactly he played that like that? Wonder if it was just pure luck or on purpose. It sounds like it was from a different take that might've been trashed but they wanted to use that one part just because he couldn't mimic it again.
@Walamonga1313

JustinFukinCole Extirpate He also makes extremely good use of the whammy bar. Instead of just dive bombs or squeals, he uses it to accentuate certain notes or shift them in a very weird way. Then again, his playing is always weird but awesome! EDIT: And also this 0:43 I still don't know how he gets that harmonic out of nowhere
@JustinFukinCole

Walamonga 1313 sounds like he's tapping the string around the neck pick up area to get that note at 0:43 but even still. The way it rings out is beautiful. He's gotta be using some sort of sustain pedal or something. I'll bet you if whales heard this it'd make them cry. Easily one of my top 10 leads of all time.
