PMRC came up with that warning sticker on album covers.

Pmrc=parental music resource center= a cover for Democrat led censorship in the 80's. They targeted a lot of different artists. Dee Snyder, the singer from Twisted Sister, was brought before Congress and had an epic speech regarding free speech. That's why I love this song, pro 1st Amendment all the way. If you see the lyrics, the first line of each line of the chorus spells out FREEDOM.

...and also let's not forget Frank Zappa's speech at the same hearing. There is an awesome documentary about the whole "affair"

"The Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) was an American committee formed in 1985 with the stated goal of increasing parental control over the access of children to music deemed to have violent, drug-related, or sexual themes via labeling albums with Parental Advisory stickers" - Funny thing was that that little sticker just made everyone want to buy the album more lol
