Hi Dasi - Greetings from Massachusetts, USA. I think this product and products like this have their place - during summer drought seasons when water bans are in effect, and also during the cold winter. Sometimes sticking my hands in a bucket of water, no matter how warm the water starts our being, is a deal breaker. I would consider trying this, for sure. Love your videos and glad I found your channel.

thank you so much for that! completely didn't think about water shortages as it's not really much of a problem in scotland lol. but yeah, this would be an awesome product for that type of situation! I see your point about cold water as well, but a little trick i use in the winter is to wear a pair of nitrile gloves to act almost like a dry suit when washing cars, it takes the edge of the water :)

I use that exact product to spot clean the paint (bird droppings) like a detailer product. I use it also to wipe down the door and trunk jams especially after a wash (as a drying aid on the jam areas). A bottle will last me a whole year - that’s how little use I give it.

It’s an excellent product for car shows, where you’ve cleaned the car beforehand, but want to clear off the detritus that lands on it during the drive there. To that end it’s worked beautifully for me.

Apparently originally designed for people , car enthusiast to use it as spot clean in between washes , give it a quick clean if some areas need attention, yes like you say.. each section use 3 microfiber cloths do takes forever lol.... I clean my car in between washes with this after going to the car wash on Sundays. California has strict water restrictions now, so I’m trying to conserve water. If we weren’t in a drought then I would just wash my car if it got super dirty throughout the week.

Agree with Denise E, I have couple of brands of the stuff, use them in summer during hosepipe ban if car has been out and got dusty, keep a pack of (green) microfibre towels specifically for it. Also if car has been in garage for few weeks, it's a quick detail. Good finish with nice shine and no scratches but I wouldn't put it on really dirty car. So it's useful, not for regular use though.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the only safe product (Waterless Car Wash) to wash a modern car, with all its sensors, computer, and whatnots that's all over the car. If the car is very muddy use a hose and a bucket of suds but otherwise avoid using water under high pressure as it can force water into places water is not supposed to go. Pointing a high-pressure hose at the external door lock could cause the car's computer to malfunction. Car manufacturers warn against using high-pressure hose on brake parts and protective coverings. The modern car tire has chemicals embedded in the tire wall and pointing a high-pressure hose at the tire wall for just 5 seconds can damage the tire and cause a blow-out. And so the list go on.

Thank you, really appreciate that, I agree that a pressure washer can be a dangerous thing if you have the pressure set too high 👍🏻

Waterless Wash technology I believe was developed initially by the US armed forces and companies like Boeing & Airbus to produce a wash that can be applied to an aircraft in a hanger without using water and harmful detergents and produce a slippery surface to improve fuel economy. After testing the product was put on the market as a car wash suitable for normal traffic dust and for very muddy surface as long as the mud was washed off first before applying the waterless wash. Depending on the age of the car and the condition of the paint, waterless car wash will produce a better finish than using the traditional bucket of water and detergent and a sponge or mitt, the theory being that every time you dip the mitt or sponge in the bucket you add more and more grit to the water which can dull the paint. Due to the continuous tightening of stringent environmental legislation in Europe and other countries, car wash business are turning away from using water and detergent car washes to waterless car washes. Most Waterless Car Wash is biodegradable and causes no harm to the environment. The ingredient that makes the finish shiny and slippery is made from extract from Brazilian palm trees. Waterless car wash can be expensive, but if you shop around, waterless car wash is available bulk containers and works much cheaper than buying one bottle at a time. I buy a 5 Lt container that works out about $3 per wash depending on the size of the car.

I used it when I did a 4-week road trip and had so many dead bugs on the front of car and mirrors that I started to panic. I used a quart of Masterson first. But no luck getting more of that on the road. Both products seemed to work pretty well, with the edge to Masterson's. When I got lazy near the end and didn't wipe off daily, I ended up with etching. There is no doubt that these products were effective. I used more than one 32-towel package of microfiber towels.
@@DaveRebuilds Yes, I was into my second bag of MF towels. It was a great trip. My car suffered a bit from 6,000 miles, some of them unpaved. Some rock chips in the front paint, even though I drove slowly on the worst roads. I didn't want to handle bug guts, so I didn't use all surfaces of the towels, folded into quarters.

You use this if your car has just a layer of dust like mine this week. As for taking ages it is no longer that using a traditional method of water, shampoo, rinse and towel dry. You also get the bonus of adding some wax. If you then had to wax your car after a traditional water wash it would take longer to detail your car than this product. A good product to compliment in between normal car cleaning methods when your car is not that dirty. Like you I was very skeptical. You will notice you hear no abrasive sound when use the product so hence no scratches.

Why? Perfect for bird shit. Excellent way to clean motorcycle wheels without washing the entire bike, it removes grease and grime or even dust on motorcycles that have been sitting in the garage for a while. I'm not a big fan of blasting a motorcycle with high pressure water hose where the water can get in wheel bearings and electrical connectors. Therefore, after every ride a very quick wipe down keeps the bike in spectacular shape every time and all the time. As for a car....I use it to clean my vinyl seats and dashboard and also the touch screens. Washing an entire car outside is kind of silly and expensive.
