@moderna spider didn’t get any doses and don’t plan on it. I survived Covid and have actual immunity. Vaccine is a failure and it should not be given to everyone. At this point I no longer think it should be given anymore to anybody.

I took melotonin on day one of when I got Covid. Between the Covid making me tired and the melotonin I was feeling so wore out that I didn't take it any longer. You said that you slept through the whole thing. I felt better being awake.

@@casz7098 Not only do they own and control KZitem, but also all of the other major social media platforms, most all of the news media outlets, Hollywood, the Music industry, they dictate the narratives pushed in academia, and most of the financial and lending sectors. THey're also predominate in the CDC, FDA... many are heads of $Big Pharma and they also patented the "pandemic outbreak tracing software" being pushed.

I had Omicron 5 on January 18, 2023. I tell people that I slept as much as 16 hours a day and my high-blood pressure went down to 110/60. I had some time left to clean and cook and even bike at home. It was a blessing. Note: I'm 75 years old, unvaccinated, and full of energy. I swim the butterfly at the pool three times a week, do yoga, do weightlifting, play with my grandchildren on weekends, and knit. There is a beautiful life after Covid...

I had Covid 19 in Dec of 2019 , Omicron 2022 , something that is mutant of Omicron in 2023 I am a alternative plant based person who heals people with plants over 200 Covid non vaccinated patients including myself , I am 79 work on a farm with all my plants walking about 4-5 miles daily just caring for plants , weight lifting , eat mostly vegan , but also fish , and Turkey home grown .Lots of liquids ,smoothies ect , I am in perfect health and both of our blood is probably very valuable according to research My approach is get rid of inflammation and eat healthy in small portions no large meal after 6pm . Do get 8 hrs sleep daily . I use my own product to remove inflammation and it’s fermented Noni .

Wait up! I am right behind you! I got Omnicron in August last year. Hubby too. We did it together. We didn't sleep that much but since we had fatigue didn't do much either. Two weeks later we are on a plane for vacation! But yes, it was good to get it over with.

Why I give them to hubby at night. I’m allergic. Quick online search: pistachios contain certain phenolics which can reduce the breakdown of tryptophan to toxic compounds so that it is converted to melatonin. The increase in tryptophan has the potential to help with delayed sleep onset, sleep duration and quality. To ensure most benefit from eating pistachios before bed eat ~1/2 cup/ 2 oz/ 75 grams/ ~20 to 30 nuts. Melatonin levels typically peak 2 am - 4 am. FWIW cortisol peaks ~12:00 midnight and rise 2am - 4am.

For me, the Fluoride is the worst for being so highly reactive it "squirrels" with all the less electronegative chemicals. Vit D is only 24, up from 19. I battle to get sleep since possably so many receptor sites have been pirated.

@@Merogenomics I took melatonin, a few years ago, at 10 pm. I wasn't myself, still, 16 hours later. I was drowsy and couldn't think straight. A friend of mine asked me what did I take and advised me not to take again. And I didn't even take a whole tablet. Not even a half of it.

Very interesting about melatonin in every cell. I used 40 mg every night during the Delta variant. I never felt in danger - used the recommended supplements and over the counter meds. I love this background - wonder where it is. And is that seagull a friend of yours? He hangs on every word.

Haha, I did bit of fasting while still in Italy (but hey, definitely enjoyed the pizza where its at) but once I got to Poland, woah, all bets were off!!! Enjoyed family cooking too much! Back in Canada and back to fasting (still haven't eaten anything today at almost 12:30pm and pushing further)

I also never got C but I have never taken Melatonin but I had already heard it was good to take in the first stages of C along with other meds & vitamins & minerals. I think I found it hard to purchase but I had a mix of different meds to take should I get C rather than just leaving it like we were told to do by the NHS & drs.

I have not yet had Covid either. I do take vitamin. D though. No melatonin but I do love pistachios. Something to ponder on. I remain unvaxed, have chronic health issues asthma, OSA and weathered this Covid Epoch like Odysssus strapped to his mast…bravely by not buying into the globalist propaganda. I do t know why I did not catch Covid except I already live a fairly isolated hermetic lifestyle. I almost died last year from respiratory issues that were not Covid but I believe were shedding symptoms. I am 58, go dancing each weekend, so keep fit even though I am overweight (obese). Life is for the living. Fully embrace it. (I have had many near death events since early childhood so know more than most people what living with chronic ill health is like.).

Once again, I thankyou, Doctor. I bought an infrared light with the hopes of gaining melatonin. Another is having an eating window between 11:00 am, and 4:30 pm. I don't feel hungry or malnourished. (Lol) The body benefits from fasting in many ways, even on this small scale. I know you know. 😊

My husband works midnights for the last 3 years. He takes melatonin to help him sleep. He tested positive for Covid but barely had symptoms. I had it and was pretty sick for several days.

Read an interesting paper the other day; Forman HJ (2013) The argument is that there are not scavengers of electrophiles, rather its stimulation via para-hormesis of the transcription factors to produce SOD, for example, that rids the body of ROS/RNS. The pathway is via NF-kB and Nrf2. The reason being for the hormesis theory is that the reaction kinetics of nucleophile -> electrophile is ten to the 8 molar per second, so there is no opposite reaction fast enough (polyphenol to quinone) to handle that. So interesting to think about that IF melatonin is a good stimulator that it happens at night which is also during the glymphatic cycle etc etc

It is said that both melatonin supplements and near-red light therapy are best when sunshine is in short supply. The near-red infrared wavelengths can penetrate into cells and cause production of melatonin there. At least that's the theory as I understand it. Can anyone shed further light (so to speak)?

@Merogenomics Note: people respond to Melatonin very differently from minor changes in doses. Tablets range from 250 mcg, 1mg, 3mg, 5mg, 10mg. Some people will get a hangover and daytime tiredness if the dose is too high. Start with the smallest dose and increase until you find an effective dose, which will also change over time due to natural decline with age. For example in my 20s 1mg was effective, now in my 40s 10mg is almost ineffective. How high of a dose is safe daily?

And again for me, that "liver" connection. Dr. C and Bret W. have discussed a recent autopsy of an elderly man with Parkinson's Disease whose physical and mental symptoms ramped up and he succumbed. Family requested autopsy.

I would have to see scientific data which I have not. One of the strange things that happened during this pandemic is that apparently we really stopped doing scientific analyses of autopsies. I have had fibromyalgia for many years and take 4 or 5mg each night to help with sleep. Non restorative sleep is one of the many problems with fibro. Been taking it for over 20 years.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a few years ago but a Naturopath started doing some digging and felt I likely had Lyme Disease. Lyme is sneaky mimics many illnesses. I had testing done at Armin Labs in Germany and it came back positive for Borrelia - Lyme. I take many of the same supplements from the Fibro diagnosis but now also take antimicrobial herbs.

I took melatonin when I had omicron in early 2022 and it did nothing. I had great vitamin D levels, great zinc levels. Everything. Nearly had to go to hospital with low o2 levels, no comobidities, late 30's, (was) in good shape. You might find a bunch of these things which "work" or "help" but you won't know until it happens and you'd better be prepared. Or better yet, avoid getting it at all costs. It took me the better part of a year to feel any kind of vitality in my body again. Just don't fool yourself into thinking you don't need to be concerned about it just because you've got a few supplements on your bedside table, that's all I'm saying.

This is off topic a little but, I have myopic macular did generation. Would genetic testing, help detect those jeans are my children. I have two children that wear glasses, but their eyes are not nearly as bad as mine Were at their age. But since I’ve lost a lot of my central vision, it’s a deep concern for me… For them. Added pistachio tip (sadly allergic) search foods high in melatonin and natural ways to stim. Edit: concern esp now for privacy/protection of personal data esp in DNA/genetic tests. How is it used? Medical DNA tests are certainly being protected like all health patients info. The data that companies store (not all of them do, some delete it due to storage cost and reduced liability) they store it anonymized. They do not sell or trade but use internally for enhanced medical interpretation. That is if you go with proper medical test where doctor is also involved, not some online test

How many mg of Melatonin daily is recommended? My daughter is not vaccinated and has been through Covid twice. I myself am in poor health and am battling the Shingles right now. I would also try some Melatonin.

Sorry, I don't have time to double check my facts but... I thought I read that the animal source of melatonin is from the pineal gland. Also, that the pineal gland can pass on neurological diseases if consumed. That is why melatonin sourcing is best through plants. But, the plant melatonin supplement kind is 4 to 6 times more expensive. So, I thought that sourcing it through what you eat is better. I am not sure if the body can make its own, if it does, I suspect through collagen and drinking bone broth. Can someone help me out with this info, correct or incorrect?

While it is true that some melatonin supplements are derived from animal sources, such as bovine pineal glands, most commercially available melatonin supplements are synthetic and are produced in a laboratory. It is also true that consuming animal products, including those derived from the pineal gland, can potentially transmit certain neurological diseases, such as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). However, the risk of transmission is generally considered to be very low, and there have been no reported cases of CJD transmission from melatonin supplements. As for plant-based melatonin supplements, they are generally more expensive than synthetic or animal-derived supplements. However, some people prefer plant-based supplements because they are vegan and may be considered more natural. It's worth noting that while the body does produce its own melatonin naturally, supplementation may be helpful for some people who have difficulty falling or staying asleep. It's also important to note that the body produces melatonin from the amino acid tryptophan, which is found in many foods, including turkey, chicken, fish, cheese, nuts, and seeds. However, the amount of tryptophan in these foods is typically not enough to significantly increase melatonin levels in the body.
