Thank you so so much for this idea and instructions!! You saved me today when my batch I made for a pop up order turned out so ugly! Made a variation with pinks gold and purple. It's beautiful!!

I remember when I started soap making and I turned my nose to at MP soap cause I thought it was like cheating and like making cake with a box mix. Lol. The first time I tried MP, I stirred the soap between bursts in the microwave. It was a hellish disaster, as you can imagine. I am now more humble, but still do mostly CP & HP cause y'all are dedicated with that MP soap. Cool things you can do, so one day I'll try again.

This is so cool! I’m just starting out, my question is do you need to wrap melt and pour soap once it’s done in a Saran type of wrapper?
@koalasoap8435
Жыл бұрын
It is best to wrap sooner than later as they can stay as dust free as possible. Also if you are using a glycerine base it may sweat if not wrapped. I wrap mine usually with in 24 hours. But , if you don't want to right away, you can place them in a zip lock too.

I watch these tutorials for ideas, and I love this one for melt and pours, but the problem I come into is 4ounces of soap in one container for me would have already had to be put back in microwave as it would have started to solidify in pitchers waiting so long between pours, but I watch the turtorials and that doesn’t seem to happen to many others . Am I doing something wrong

I think the big thing is the soap base. Try different brands and formulations. Ime, which might be different from others, the more "natural"/detergent free, the harder it is to work with for complicated designs.
