The most awesome thing about this all including the music is the fact that kurt shows he cared about these cats and que te acknowledged they were talented and produced this album for the Melvins keep rocking Melvins .

They're also all from the same region. Kurt tried out for the Melvins at one point and never got the gig. The Melvins started in 83, Nirvana in 87

@@MattiusFincham yeah and dale crover was the original drummer for nirvana. he also came up with most of the drum parts on bleach, recorded the song if i must , a couple songs from incesticide , and he also created the drum part for drain you for the most part and taught dave

@@daskrunkly3213 Dale drummed for Fecal Matter, but so did Mike Dillard at one point. The first Nirvana drummer was Aaron Burkhard (I probably spelled that wrong lol). Then Dale filled in for that demo, then Dave Foster, then Chad, then Dale again, then Dan Peters, then Dave

haha once upon a time The Melvins gave Kurt his very start!! Dale was Nirvana's go-to-drummer until Melvins moved to San Fran. He was a full member in hindsight

Buzz Osbournes sober awkwardness has become a recent obsession of mine. Their music is OK but very captivating, Buzz will constantly try to be funny and fail 99% of the time and it's weird as fuck.

i usually laugh. imagine how surreal, awkward and annoying it is to be interviewed! how can you not appreciate self-deprecating humor? its not the jokes themselves as much as the mindset behind it, which is just goofy and playful, in perfect juxtaposition to most of their songs! shit i think its pretty refreshing

He was married to their vocalist, Lori. I saw Acid King & Altamont (Dale's side-band) play together at the CD release party for MELVINS - "The Maggot" in '99. Dale & Lori were both super-cool / down-to-earth people.

Cobain is a good role model for people who view success as being rich, on drugs, and burnt out creatively. The Melvins on the other hand are ceaseless workaholics who will still be working long after this comment is forgotten.
