I just wish they'd of had more time together as a band because there was alotta talent up there & I'd of loved to seen them & their material after a good 10+ years together past the 96' - 97' tours.... Daniel Smith I'm an INXS fan as well - they had a huge backlog and released a lot more, yes I agree. Hutchence much more of a 'showman' in some ways than Hay. INXS much more cohesive with band members compared to MAW: hence their staying power. Have you listened to all 3 MAW albums? Although the last one was way over produced, I think they wrote more than one decent song! Basically I think they were a fantastic band in their own right (although shortlived) and had a totally different outlook to INXS therefore hard to compare.

So true. It's really depressing to think how good these guys were on their first two albums, but just could NOT get along with each other to keep it going. And I'm not counting the third "Men At Work" album from 1985 that didn't even have John & Jerry on it and had Ron in a very limited role. This was a true BAND, as is evidenced from this video. The interplay between all of them during this show (especially on "Mr. Entertainer") incredible. It's a real shame that they couldn't reconvene at the end of '83 (or beginning of '84) and record a new album with some of the great new songs they were playing in concert during '83 (like The Longest Night, Coldfinger and Falling Down). Those three songs still had that MAW magic all over them. A new album with songs of that caliber would have definitely kept the hits coming for the group instead of relegating them to being more or less a footnote in rock history.

Ham was found dead on 19 April 2012 at his home in Carlton North, Melbourne, under mysterious circumstances. Though several newspapers listed his cause of death as a heart attack, the cause of death still remains a mystery. There have been allegations he died after a long battle with heroin addiction. Though his cause of death is still being debated, it's known that he was despondent over the copyright lawsuit filed against him and the members of Men At Work, for allegedly using a few bars from "Kookaburra" without permission for the flute riff in "Down Under". F*k Larrikin Music,
